Origin of Homoeopathy

In the late eighteenth century, German physician Dr. Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843) made the origin of homoeopathy. It is a process of treating a patient by using medications. This medication have the ability to replicate the symptoms of a natural disease in a healthy person and effectively treat the injured person.

Holistic approach of treatment

Homoeopathy treats patients using a holistic approach while also taking into account each person’s unique traits. It uses the  standard process known as dynamization or potentization. In this process a series of dilutions and succussions to maximize the drugs’ inherent curative power. This is used to prepare homoeopathic medicines from traces of animal, plant, mineral, and other natural substances. The medications made this way through “potentization” have a much greater ability to treat illnesses.

To determine the medicines’ curative qualities, they are typically tested on healthy humans. According to the system, the organism possesses a self-regulating force that is essential to both health and illness. The symptoms aid in the search for a cure for the disease and are thought to be the body’s normal response to it. The doctor observes all of the patient’s physical and mental abnormalities. Thus creates a conceptual picture of the patient based on the entirety of the patient’s symptoms. Then chooses the medication that best fits the patient’s overall symptomatology.
